Action Walks
Take
a walk through Alton Baker Park with the Park Host and other volunteers
to clean up trash and/ or do landscaping.
Nearby Nature will provide gloves and bags. Have fun while giving
back to
the park!

Afterschool Adventure Camp
Check at your child's school to see if Nearby Nature is
providing an afterschool program. Days and times vary according to

Busy as a Bee
Saturday, July 19, 10 am-noon
How do bees make honey? Who lives in a hive? Learn all about the
pollinators in our park. Decorate a plant pot and plant a colorful
flower!
August
Get Lost...and Found!
Saturday, August 23, 10 am-noon
Learn the basics about wilderness wayfinding in this family-focused
survival adventure. Play wayfinding games and learn to pack a survival
kit!
