Looking to get outside and help Nearby Nature with our restoration goals? Start your year off right, and help us replant a large section of trees along the river that were lost in a fire last year. A total of 450 trees need to be planted before the spring, and once they are all planted we will begin applying wood chip mulch around each tree. Come join us for a fun Saturday of giving back to our community.
**We ask all of our volunteers to please bring a water bottle full of water to the event, as this helps us reduce our waste.
**Please wear durable, sturdy shoes, and clothing that is appropriate for the weather and ok to get dirty. All tools, gloves, and instructions are provided.
**This event will meet at the planting location, located at Mile Post 3 of the North Bank Bike Path. This is right along the river in the East End of Alton Baker Park. Please contact the below email for questions regarding the location of this event.
**RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by clicking here.
