Annual Raffles

Donate to Nearby Nature Through Our Annual Raffles!

Every year, Nearby Nature hosts two special raffles. One happens in April, at our annual Egg Walk. The other happens in October, at our annual Haunted Hike. There are two ways you can support Nearby Nature through these raffles.

  • Donate Goods and Services for a Raffle

Local businesses and individuals are welcome to dontate goods and services for our raffles. Our raffles often have a "living lightly" or an "outdoor fun" focus, so donations that highlight these themes are particularly welcome. See below the list of businesses and individuals who contributed to the 2009 Egg Walk this April! To contribute to the Egg Walk raffle in April or the Haunted Hike raffle in October, email us at info@nearbynature.org. You are also welcome to simply send your contribution to Nearby Nature. We will also happily send someone to pick up your contribution if that is more convenient. See Thanks for a list of our most recent donors.

  • Buy Raffle Tickets

You do not need to be present to win if you buy tickets for one of our raffles! Check this section of our web site around the time of our special events and we'll have a listing of what we've got to offer and directions for how to buy tickets. For an idea of the kinds of prizes we usually have in our raffles, see Thanks for a list of our most recent donors.
