Kinder Critters

Frannie Frog visits a pre-school classroomInvite a “wild” animal to visit your pre-school, child care center, K-2nd grade classroom, library, or birthday party! Hear yarns spun by a spider or sing songs with a butterfly. Rap rhymes with a frog or talk bugs with a bat.

During each Kinder Critter program, a Nearby Nature staffer costumed as a wild creature from a nearby pond, meadow, or forest will share a fascinating combination of facts, stories, and movement games with your kids. Choose bat, butterfly, dragonfly, frog, owl, raccoon, beaver, spider, or turtle. Critters are subject to staff and volunteer availability.
