Restoration Celebration: MLK, Jr. Day of Service

This Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, join Nearby Nature and volunteers from the University of Oregon Holden Center in a Day of Service. Pick up litter in Alton Baker Park, help maintain the stencil mural on the Frohnmayer Footbridge, and (weather permitting) paint over graffiti in the area around the bridge and the Autzen footpath. Restoration Celebration: Litter Pickup and Graffiti Abatement

Join Nearby Nature and the University of Oregon Geology Club in a restoration celebration to clean up the area on and around the Frohnmayer Footbridge. This event will include litter pickup, graffiti abatement and removal, and completion of a new stencil on the support pillar under the bridge as a way to deter further graffiti.
