Nearby Nature 30th Birthday Celebration!

Join us for a party in the Learnscape celebrating our 30th Birthday! There will be goodies for everyone, from tasty pizza by Za Cart Pizza to dragonfly cake from the Network Charter School Culinary Program to garden treats from our Learnscape as well as founder Sharon Blick’s farm! We’ll also have music by past and present staff (Shaun and Will!) plus activities for kids of all ages — scavenger hunts, bug catching, Earth art, volcano making, free play, and more. We’re excited also to thank our wonderful volunteers, staff, and donors! If you know you’ll be joining us, please RSVP info@nearbynature.org with the number of adults and number of kids attending. This will help us plan for pizza and cake!

Directions to our Learnscape are here. Please plan to ride a bike and lock up at our bike rack or park your car at the boat ramp noted in the directions or main Alton Baker Park parking lots and walk down to the Learnscape. We will have signs up pointing the way if you have not been to our site before!
