|Dear Spring Field Trip Teachers — |
We hope you are staying healthy and relatively sane during this time of unprecedented challenges for all of us. All the best to you as you work to support the students and families in your lives.
We wanted to let you know how sorry we are that we won’t be able to host field trips for any of you this April. We are still hoping we get to explore Alton Baker Park with some of you in May or June, but that remains to be seen. We will watch the news closely and plan to follow all health and safety recommendations that apply to our field trip programs as we assess what’s possible later this spring.
Regardless of when schools re-open, we are working to come up with some creative ways we can help you serve the kids in your care from now until the end of the semester. We will be in touch when these ideas are more tangible. Feel free, as well, to let us know at email@example.com what kinds of help you need and we’ll see what we can do.
Again, thanks again for everything you do to support our community’s kids. Your jobs are challenging enough in normal times, so extra hats off to you during the coming months.
— Sincerely, Beth, Grace, and Bear Nearby Nature Programs Staff
